Literary Essay: Civilization Vs. Savagery

An important theme in various works of literary productions is the idea of polish against peasantry. This idea is ideally equal in Chapter 9, when Simon comes to the boys, in the dark, to explain his encounter with the Lord of the Flies. The civilized end of society on the island, which has shrunk to mainly Ralph and Piggy, had visited Jack and his party of boys, so all the boys participated in the event.
